The USA is a massive country with incredibly diverse terrain, and traveling by car, bus or train is a great way to see it all.

After graduating college, I had the opportunity to travel around the country for a few months and experience the best of my own backyard.

From the iconic rock formations of Moab to the famous Highway One in California, the beauty of the American landscape is something to be experienced on ground level.

With that in mind, here are four great cross country trips in America that will give you a new appreciation and understanding for The States, whether you’re a citizen or visitor!

1. Travel by car from San Diego to San Francisco – Take Highway One from the beautiful city of San Diego up the coast, past the endless beaches and charming small towns, to the tech mecca San Francisco. On your way up, stop in LA for some celebrity photos, golf at Pebble Beach and camp under the redwoods in Big Sur!

2. Travel by bus from New York, Boston and Washington DC – This is a short trip with a lot to see and do. Explore the three most influential cities on the east coast with a stop at the Nation’s Capital, the Big Apple and beautiful Bean Town!

3. Travel by train from Atlanta to Houston – Get a real taste of the south by traveling from the Peach State to the Lone Star State without doing any work. Past the Mississippi and through New Orleans, make sure to embrace the southern hospitality and delicious soul food along the way. A tip for you. Time to seek the passage by train or bus that best meets your needs is Goticket, a new platform to search tickets between over than 90,000 routes in US.

4, Travel by car from Salt Lake City to Tucson – In my opinion, this is the most underrated part of the United States. Everybody knows about Las Vegas, and it is a magical place, but there are so many incredible national parks around this area that you need to experience. From Moab to Zion to Lake Havasu, it is one of the most diverse and picturesque landscapes I’ve ever seen.

No matter what route you choose, and no matter the mode of transportation, there is always an adventure waiting for you! All you have to do is pick one. : )
