FOTO FRIDAY: The Colombian Countryside

I just got back to Medellin after an amazing week spent peeling beans and planting seeds out in the Colombian countryside at a friend’s family finca (farm) in Cisneros, Antioquia. This week’s photo is taken from the family farm as grandpa returned from a successful horse training session.

When they first started out, that big beautiful beast was bucking grandpa around like crazy as he tried to gain the upper hand. They disappeared over the hillside above the farm and returned about 45-minutes later walking gracefully down the steep mountain. Grandpa – 1, Horse – 0… much more to come next week.
